Hello,
I hope everyone is feeling well heading in to the end of the semester. This is a note regarding the final submission guidelines to the blog. PLEASE read ALL the guidelines below!
A: Final submissions should be posted to the blog.
B: Final submissions should be posted BEFORE midnight on Wed. (that's about 20 hours from right now!)
C: You WILL LOSE the ability to see the blog or post to it after that time. If there is anything you want to retain from the blog (anything I have posted, or something you have posted etc.) please download it before you lose access to the blog.
D: Failure to submit a final will result in an automatic failing grade, so please, take some time right now to make sure you ALREADY have a final submission post. You can continue to update the post during the day if you're still working on things, but having the current state of all work ensures you will have SOMETHING to be graded.
E: For this class, you must have the following pieces submitted IN A SINGLE POST with YOUR NAME IN THE TITLE!. So, for example, I would posting like: Danny Williams --Final Submissions post.
1: The production model (rendered in Substance Painter with materials applied from multiple angles (front/profile/three quarters)
2: The Statue Model (the posed model), also rendered in Substance Painter (no discreet materials required, just nicely gray shaded).
F: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't wait until the last second to post! Just post now, and update the post. (Yeah, I know I said this above, but I wanted to say it again -- Don't Wait!!!!)
G: Finally, I want to say thank you. Thanks for taking the class. It was great to get to know you all a little bit. Specifically for this class, there are more good modelers in this class than I have EVER had the pleasure of having in a single course at SVA. You guys are a really impressive group, so hats off people! I hope everyone has a really great holiday between semesters, and I can't wait to see what you create in the future. Practice a little every day.
-Danny
